In the space of artists.

Through out my career I have worked and spent a large amount of time in workshops.
As a designer I find these places really inspirational and educational, filled with really interesting people, none more so than in this space.
This is the space of Simon Black an artist, cyclist and good friend with a great taste in music.
My studio in London was along the same row of arches in Deptford South London, where I got to know Simon.
I found Simon's work and work space really intriguing.
As some one who has mostly worked  with wood ,seeing Simon do what he does with metal was educational and inspirational and to this day any information that I need regarding metal work is obtained through Simon as well as a healthy dose of Country and Western music.

Artist studio at its best.

Stainless steel every where.

Not a bad painter as well.

Simon has made practically everything in his studio.

I love this piece.

Working with developers.

I have recently had the opportunity to work with a Bristol property developer http://mentorship.ukpropertyinvesting.com/, I have been brought on board to see whether  I would be able to add value to a property which has been gutted, and is being redeveloped for sale.
This is a new avenue for me as I normally work on higher end properties producing quality design and workmanship.
The property developing model is different , my fees have to be covered as well as putting money in the developers pocket.
I shall update this story once the property sells.

UK property website.
Slightly over furnished, with an interesting collection of objects.
The vanity mirror in the kitchen window was a nice touch.

Dller low AV unit.

The MAX04 for Dller has a brother. I was asked to  re-look at the design of the low audiovisual unit I designed for Dller two years ago, and give it a make over.
We still wanted the original but were looking for another version to compliment other items that we are releasing in the spring.
The makeover was simple, very Scandinavian, which I think works well with the current trend in very minimal television design.

New version of the MAX04 with all oak detailing.

Simple and clean.
